VALEDICTORIAN AND SALUTATORIAN

The guidelines for determining the valedictorian and salutatorian of the senior class are as follows:

1. No one will be considered for either of these two positions who has not attended CCS for at least three years in high school, including his entire senior year.

2. No one will be considered for these two positions if he is on any type of disciplinary probation during the last semester of his senior year.

3. No one will qualify for either of these positions unless all classwork and assignments are completed.

4. An average of 90% or above must be maintained.

5. A 5% increase will be given to the final average of challenge courses. (A list of       challenge courses is kept in the office.)

 

This is done so the student taking an easier course of study will not be given an unfair advantage.
