Cornerstone seeks to help students find
a balance in their lives. In addition to their academic and spiritual
growth, our school strives to help them develop physically. Our sports
program promotes good physical fitness and encourages working together
as a team. We participate in statewide competition as well as in intramural
and citywide recreational sports activities. We also have an active
cheer club that enthusiastically supports our athletes.

Cornerstone
Lady Lions have an active junior high, junior varsity, and varsity
basketball program. Last year, the varsity team was very successful
and they had a 19-5 season in 2004 culminating in the 2004 State 1A Championship. Our Athletic
staff is expecting the Varsity Lady Lions to be contenders for the
state basketball championship again in 2005.
